Pocahontas: Something new you taught someone.

Nothing special really, I helped a friend with some classwork. She came to class late, didn’t know how to finish something we were making, and so I showed her the process.

Ariel: Where do you think you belong, and why?

I feel like I’d be better off living in a dark far off place like a forest up in the mountains. A forest with gloomy skies, tall pine trees, and towering boulders. A place where I can listen to beautiful music and not be disturbed. I say this because although I’m good at socializing with people, it’s not something I get excited about doing. I’m not the type who goes out to social gatherings, sees friends outside of school, etc. I don’t dislike it, but I don’t seek it either. I can only put up with so much before feeling tired and alienated and want to go home. I wouldn’t mind just living with my boyfriend, he’s the only person I really need. However, I’d still like to live close enough to a town so that I could buy necessities and see people every now and then and play shows, etc.

Belle: Is there someone you are close who no one else likes? What’s the story?

My dad, maybe? It’s not that nobody likes him, but he’s distanced himself from a lot of people. Him and my mom aren’t together anymore, his relationship with my sister is pretty iffy, he doesn’t talk to his side of the family, and even though he has communication with my mom’s side, he chooses not to join in when invited to family parties/get togethers/barbecues/etc. In a way, he’s sort of like me. Isolated, good at socializing but chooses to stay home.
